[Once again, getting back onto his feet is the worst part of this. Now that his choker is somewhat charged it's tempting to make use of it, but the fact that isn't fully charged has him cautious. He really doesn't want to run out of battery all over again, so he's going to suck it up. He can manage, he did it once before.

(It's still a pain though. He's such a weakling without his ability.)

At least once they're outside it's a straightforward route to the emergency clinic. Just one step at a time, with Accelerator looking down often to make sure he isn't about to trip over his crutch.]

I got shot in the head.

[His answer is blunt, and he has no intention of tiptoeing around the gory details. There are parts he plans to leave out, like how he got shot in the first place, full context of the entire situation, Last Order, but otherwise he doesn't hold back. There's no point. As far as he's concerned, it was his own fault, so why should he?

He gives Endo a small glance. He isn't expecting anything kind out of Endo, and he doesn't want pity over what happened. What happened happened, and it's reasonable for someone to be curious about why someone so young needs a crutch and something to assist with brain function.]

I pissed off this scientist, and he had a gun. I managed to prevent the bullet from hitting my brain, but it still shattered my skull and caused a brain bleed.

[Accelerator can still remember staring down the gun, the pain and resignation he felt after his skull cracked but before he passed out. He doesn't regret throwing his own life away to save Last Order's, she was worth it. In fact he cracks a tiny, rueful smile that he's still alive.]

It's pure luck that I didn't die.
