If he were alone, tension would drain from him and Endo would stop acting like these injuries are no big deal — albeit intentionally, rather than the slip he experienced earlier. This entire walk has been exhausting, and while the nap helped him clear his head a little, he's far from in decent shape. Staying at a hospital isn't something that Endo wants to do by any means, but the thought of stabilizing his injuries and lying on a bed is too overwhelmingly alluring to pass up.
