[ This is fascinating. Accelerator is the gift that keeps on giving.

Endo is wholly absorbed in Accelerator's lack of response — the way his brain not only lags, but seems to have lost most functionality. He's totally reliant on that choker, which is dangerous as it is interesting. Endo's excited by the possibilities, undeterred by the prospect of prolonging his own pain. He could shove Accelerator over and steal his choker, which Accelerator probably couldn't do anything about. And what else? Could he release those wings like this? Could Endo harass him into revealing more? Or could he just — pluck that little battery right out of his hand and give it a nice look?

That's what he chooses to do. With a careful swipe, he takes the battery into his own hand and rolls it between his fingers, squeezes it between his thumb and pointer, and holds it up to the light. He takes his time in looking at it, but a visual examination doesn't reveal much.

He wants to do more with it, but now that his mind is clearer, he recognizes that staying in the warehouse won't do him any good. He needs to get to the hospital, and Accelerator is his best bet. His only bet, really.

So he places the battery flat on his palm, which he then holds out to him to see if he can nab it from a different position: higher, further out, but still readily available. Although this is a concession, it will still give Endo a little insight into his state. Namely, whether or not Accelerator can adjust his basic behaviors when he's like this, and if he's capable of making and retaining memories that will last once he's fully conscious. ]

Here ya go.

[ He says it in a low voice, kindly, like he picked it up off the floor instead of taking it directly from Accelerator's hand. ]
